in 2011 when I made a bold decision: instead of heading to graduate school, I enrolled in yoga teacher training. It was one of the scariest — and best — choices I’ve ever made. Since then, I’ve been teaching yoga and Pilates full-time, and that path has led me through a rich and rewarding career in the wellness space.

I started in Lawrence, Kansas, teaching under the guidance of Elizabeth Marshall, whose mentorship was invaluable during those early years. From there, I moved to Richmond, Virginia, where I joined the team at Hot Yoga Richmond — a vibrant, community-centered studio that I eventually co-owned with two close friends. For six and a half years, I poured my heart into HYR, not only as a teacher but as a studio owner, retreat planner, staff manager, social media strategist, workshop leader, and teacher trainer. Owning my own studio was truly a dream come true.

In May 2025, after a brief stint living and teaching in Atlanta, GA, I made another leap of faith — this time to be closer to family — and relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina. Here, I’m currently focused on two of my deepest passions: health and wellness coaching and curating unforgettable yoga and Pilates retreats. Whether I'm working one-on-one with clients or guiding a group class, I aim to create a space where transformation feels possible and growth is celebrated.

Teaching and coaching are constant exchanges of energy, insight, and inspiration. I believe that every class, retreat, and coaching session offers a unique opportunity for both the student and teacher to evolve. I will always consider myself a student first, and I’d be honored to be your teacher.
